You will assist the Roadway Programs Coordinator with budgeting, planning, and analyzing data related to maintenance activities, programs, and expenditures. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Roadway Programs Technician 2, you will provide technical analysis and independent evaluation of the Department of Transportation Bucks Maintenance Office's maintenance work programs. Your duties will include detailed purchasing work which will involve the review of requisitions, the preparation of bid documents, the review and award of bids, the preparation of contracts and purchase orders, and utilizing a department purchasing card within Bucks County. In addition, you will be instrumental with ensuring that all aspects of policies, procedures, goals, and objectives are met through analyzing data for the review of maintenance activities, programs, and costs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Summer work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Roadway Programs Technician 1. or One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment, and an Associate's Degree in the field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or closely related program; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
