Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. As a Bookkeeper, you will be involved in diverse functions such as managing accounts payable and receivable, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with month-end close procedures. This role is key in our team, helping us maintain accurate financial records and ensuring smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable

• Carry out account reconciliation tasks effectively

• Assist with month-end closing activities

• Ensure accurate and timely entry of invoices

• Set up vendors as needed, ensuring all necessary details are accurately recorded

• Assist with cash postings to ensure accurate tracking of financial transactions

• Help with bank reconciliations to ensure our records are in line with bank statements

• Use QuickBooks for various accounting tasks

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary

• Must have experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is required

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is a must

• Should have a solid background in Bookkeeping

• Data Entry skills are essential

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Must have experience with Month End Close procedures
