QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Associate degree from accredited college/university in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
Three (3) years of professional experience in systems administration.
Have three (3) years’ experience administering a VMware Virtual Environment, which should include extensive knowledge of and experience with installation, configuration, and integration, backups, troubleshooting and problem resolution for servers associated with a VMware Virtual Infrastructure such as ESXi and vCenter Servers.
Configure new virtual machines (VM’s) and Windows Server Operating experience.
IAT Level II - CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP
Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
Must be U.S. Citizen
Preferred/Desired
Working knowledge of the Naval Sea System Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, and Fleet organizations is desired.
Responsibilities of this position also include, but are not limited to:
Attending mandatory, annual training sessions
Providing regular status reports to management summarizing progress, challenges, metrics, and recommendations
Collaborating with team members to ensure effective communication and coordination
Attending recurring team meetings or huddles
Assisting in the development of new initiatives
