Summary

Sparks is seeking a RFP Designer to join our RFP Management team and contribute to the creation of capability presentations and opportunity-specific proposals and live pitches. This role involves designing visually compelling decks and documents for RFP submissions, ensuring they meet Sparks' high standards and align with our brand identity. You will collaborate with a diverse team, including strategists and designers.

This position will support our Strategic RFP team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of Philadelphia, PA or Ridgefield, CT.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design visually engaging proposal decks, presentations, and documents for RFP submissions and capabilities decks including formatting, layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.

  • Ensuring proposal materials and capability presentations align with Sparks’ high standards, brand standards, client expectations, consistency, and strategic messaging.

  • In some cases, create a hybrid of client & Sparks branding according to our style guide, as well as adhere to client’s branding guidelines for fully-customized decks.

  • Act as liaison between the marketing team and RFP team.

  • Collaborating with Strategists, Creative & Art Directors, 3D and 2D designers and content writers to translate complex information into creative design elements such as infographics, charts, icons, etc.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related field, or 2+ years of proposal design experience in an agency setting.

  • Proven experience designing proposals, presentations, or similar client-facing materials.

  • Proficiency in presentation tools like Google Slides, Figma and PowerPoint, as well as design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).

  • Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines efficiently.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, especially when working on multiple responses with varying priorities and teams.

  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills.

  • Willingness to work outside traditional business hours when necessary to meet deadlines.
