Summary of Position:  (Brief description of overall responsibilities and function)

The Project Engineer AW119 will have the following main responsibilities: Coordinate the AWPC project activities for AW119 in coordination with technical areas, making sure that the aircraft level technical requirements are properly flown down to the appropriate technical area Support the System Engineers for activities necessary to get certification (STC/TC) Preparations of Budgets and Schedules for project activities and managing of budgets/schedules Provide co-ordination between LHIT/AWPC for design/development/test activities carried out in AWPC. Working across engineering AWPC/IT to ensure design activities are carried out in the best location to support company business needs and staff availability Coordinate the design definition, costs and schedule for new bids for possible AW119 contracts The Project Engineer AW119 will interact and coordinate with the following departments/customers/suppliers: AWPC: System Engineers, P21/P145 Design, Program Management, Contracts, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales/Marketing and Bid Team LH DO Italy: CPE office, Avionics Systems Team, Structural Teams, Sales/Marketing and Bid Team -  Customer/Suppliers: Support discussions as needed with AW119 key suppliers

Qualifications for Position: A. Education Bachelor Degree in mechanical/aerospace/electrical engineering or similar technical discipline

B. Experience 5 years of experience in aeronautical/aerospace technical and operations environment,

C. Competencies & Attributes Knowledge of the design and manufacturing of the helicopter systems. Planning and Project management. Knowledge of FAA Certification. Ability to use CATIA, AutoCAD and Solidworks an advantage Ability to work in a team. Troubleshooting/Problem Solving/Decision Making and communications. Knowledge of Italian a plus.
