Description:

The Lead Radiology Technologist is responsible for the daily oversight of technical staff, provides input for evaluations and makes recommendations to Radiology Management in regards to staff issues: counseling, scheduling and flexing of technical staff to address patient volumes. The Lead oversees the General Diagnostic Department in an effective yet fiscally responsible manner by maintaining equipment and supplies. The Radiology Lead is responsible for quality control/assurance and is accountable for dose conscious imaging. Additional tasks: assisting with payroll, supporting with interviews, orientation and on-going training to guarantee competency. Contributions Radiology Manager in meeting state, federal and certifying/accrediting agencies such as but not limited to ACR, TJC, DEP, and DOH, HIPPA standards, etc. The Lead Radiology Technologist functions as a radiology techologist as needed.

HS graduate. Successful graduate from an AMA approved Radiology program. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Ability to supervise colleagues and students.
