The Wistar Institute of Anatomy & Biology Lab-Villanueva - Technician (Part-Time) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Wistar Institute has an opening for a part-time Technician to join the lab of Dr. Jessie Villanueva. The Villanueva lab focuses on the molecular signaling pathways that become deregulated in melanoma with the goal of identifying suitable targets for therapy, particularly for tumors with limited therapeutic options.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in vitro and in vivo experiments, preparing reagents, organizing data, and assisting with other lab needs and ongoing studies.

A bachelor's degree in a science-related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) is required. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with animals. Previous lab work is highly desired.

Recent graduates with a strong motivation to advance a career in the biomedical or medical field are encouraged to apply. Good organization and communication skills are essential.
