The Wistar Institute of Anatomy & Biology Lab-Bertolini- Research Assistant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Wistar Institute has an opening for a Research Assistant to join the laboratory of Dr. Irene Bertolini. Research in the Bertolini laboratory focuses on the role of extracellular vesicles in regulating cell-to-cell communication within the tumor microenvironment.

Duties will include assisting and performing experiments using techniques focused on cell culture, molecular biology, animal handling, imaging, immunology and laboratory management tasks. The successful candidate will receive adequate supervision and training to safely and correctly complete research goals.

A bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in a science related field is required. Previous experience with mice handling and cell culture is preferred, but not necessary.
