Director - Project Portfolio Management Generalist, PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services LLC, Philadelphia, PA. Develop, track, and evaluate programs to help organizations achieve goals and objectives. Enhance organizations project and program performance by identifying alternative project approaches, consistently aligning projects with corporate strategy, setting the tone and pace of programs from the outset, responding quickly and effectively to crisis situations. Monitor the KPIs that demonstrate the portfolio's performance. Manage and administer a large and diverse team of professional, technical, support staff, and contractors, both directly and indirectly, through managers and supervisors. Create and manage complex budgets and business plans for units relating to project development and implementation. Plan and lead strategic technology projects end to end including budgeting and financial planning, execution, and monitoring. Direct and supervise teams in the implementation of Master Data Management systems and Data Integration endeavors for extensive enterprise Data Transformation projects. Utilize various tools such as Jira, PPM Optics, MS Project, and Forecasting Tools for comprehensive planning and execution. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and streamline delivery pipelines through DevOps and related technologies to improve time-to-market and reduce long-term costs. Offer consulting to clients on emerging technologies to facilitate technology transformations. Prepare executive project reports to communicate project progress, highlight issues/risks, and engage with Executive leadership. Oversee project operations to ensure seamless execution and successful project delivery.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field, plus 7 years of related work experience, of which 5 years must be post-bachelor's progressive related work experience.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field, plus 5 years of related work experience.

 Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

  • Directing, managing, implementing and executing business and technology related solutions;
  • Assessing client projects for areas of risk, identify gaps and recommend areas for improvement;
  • Leading large-scale PMOs, applying appropriate project management techniques to oversee and/or support a complex workstream or a number of less complex workstreams;
  • Contributing to sales; tracking business leads; and supporting business development opportunities through the identification of new engagement opportunities and assisting with the writing, presenting, closing, researching, and delivering of proposals and engagements.

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

Domestic and/or international travel up to 80% required.
