Robert Half Senior Accounting Manager in Pennsauken, New Jersey
Description
New Jersey manufacturer seeks a Senior Accounting Manager with proven M& A activity/integration expertise. This role will be responsible for managing the month end process, creating financial reporting schedules, assisting with the quarterly/annual auditing process, reviewing journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS, developing financial growth strategies, maintaining the general ledger, overseeing daily accounting operations, and identifying opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements. We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager with solid tax compliance and reporting skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong understanding of GAAP standards, and the capacity to multi-task while meeting crucial deadlines.
What you get to work on daily
· Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP
· Develop and implement internal controls
· Analyze financial data and present reports to senior management
· Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
· Review contracts for revenue recognition
· Coordinate and manage the month-end/year-end process
· Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff
Requirements
The ideal Senior Accounting Manager will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Other requirements for the Senior Accounting Manager role include and are not limited to:
· CPA preferred
· 7+ years of finance/accounting experience
· 2+ years of experience in finance/accounting Leadership roles
· Construction industry experience preferred
· Solid experience working directly on M& A related integration a MUST
