Description

TheDirect Support Professional (DSP)provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.

Patterson 311is a spacious cozy 6 bedroom home with 6 amazing elderly individuals. Staff who work at this residence will assist and encourage these individuals with their everyday goals and daily life skills. A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. Training will also include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.

HOURS: 38 hours weekly - Thursday / Friday 10p-12p & Saturday 10p-8a

Starting Salary: $18.44 - $20.29 per hour with additional shift differentials as applicable

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred

• Acceptable NYS Driver's License

• Computer skills
