We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to manage data management, governance, and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with key stakeholders, lead data acquisition efforts, and develop data solutions that drive analytics and insights for business decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to acquire and integrate new data sources, negotiating agreements with third parties.

  • Collaborate with Commercial Analytics, IT, Marketing, Sales, and other teams to consolidate data into a single, efficient platform.

  • Implement and oversee Data Quality Management (DQM) processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

  • Design and build data marts to support advanced analytics, self-service business intelligence, and data visualization.

  • Work with existing data management partners to document and manage data ingestion pipeline processes.

  • Ensure datasets are prepared and optimized for analytics, reporting, and generative AI applications.

  • Establish and enforce data governance processes for managing data products and solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards related to claims data analysis and reporting.

  • Deploy and maintain business intelligence tools (Tableau/Power BI) for commercial leadership and field teams.

  • Translate business challenges into technical solutions and function as a key business lead for data integration efforts.

  • Provide cross-functional analytical support for field operations, data governance, and commercial analytics.

  • Manage business vendor relationships, oversee contract negotiations, and define data formats.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management and life sciences.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial data management roles within the pharma/biotech industry.

  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources, industry regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Innovative mindset with a problem-solving approach to data integration and analysis.

  • Experience with data analytics, data management and data visualization.

  • Good knowledge of SQL and able to pull information from different sources.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Define and oversee all commercial pharma data processes.

  • Establish and maintain business rules governing data usage and integration.

  • Document all data flows and processes to ensure transparency and compliance.

  • Manage change control and system updates.

  • Manage Master Data Management (MDM), Data Change Request (DCR), Incentive Compensation (IC), and Targeting data processes.

  • Conduct data analysis and maintain business rule documentation.

  • Manage vendor and third-party agreements related to data acquisition and validation.

  • Provide training and guidance on data processes to internal teams.

  • Oversee project management aspects related to data management and implementation.

  • Perform data quality control (QC) checks to ensure integrity and consistency.

Our Compensation and Benefits

At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $180,000, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance.

Benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees, a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, wellness benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees to accrue up to 120 hours in the first four (4) years of employment, and 160 hours in the fifth (5th) year of employment as well as 15 paid holidays per year.
