Robert Half Front Desk Coordinator in Paramus, New Jersey

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the Wood & Furniture Manufacturing industry at our location in Paramus, New Jersey, United States. We are seeking a Front Desk Coordinator, who will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, handling phone calls, and receiving packages.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the front desk.

• Handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments.

• Receive and distribute packages to the relevant staff members.

• Welcome and assist visitors in a detail oriented and courteous manner.

• Use Microsoft Office software to carry out administrative tasks efficiently.

• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the front desk area.

• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth operations.

• Resolve any issues or complaints that arise in a timely and efficient manner. Requirements • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the Wood & Furniture Manufacturing industry

• Strong proficiency in performing receptionist duties including handling phone calls, greeting guests, and managing mail

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload efficiently

• Proficiency in using computer systems and software such as Microsoft Office

• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail

• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative to improve processes

• Flexibility to work in different shifts if required
