ServU Federal Credit Union IT Manager in Painted Post, New York

JOB SUMMARY:ServU FCU’s IT Manager is the credit union’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all things related to information technology (IT). The IT Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Information Technology Department while developing strategic initiatives with the Vice President of Information Technology. This position is fast-paced and demanding with immense areas of responsibility.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:•Responsible for day-to-day departmental operations to include:◦Staff scheduling◦Project and priority leadership◦Systems oversight•Network & system administration.•Monitor, upgrade, and maintain Credit Union systems to include:◦Firewalls & network infrastructure◦Server environment including core◦Security tools including endpoint protection & IPS◦Disaster recovery environment & backups◦Communication and voice systems•Respond to after-hours calls in the event member facing services are interrupted or unavailable.•Run and provide guidance on operations schedules - daily, monthly, and quarterly. This includes supervising first of month and month end operation schedule instances.•Maintain accurate and complete documentation to include:◦Core and system administration schedules◦Technology practices, processes, & procedures◦Accurate and updated inventory of hardware & software•Control (limit) access to systems and access points.•Provide technical support and solutions for staff.•Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed which can require:◦Sitting for extended periods of time◦Climbing and working from ladders◦Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds•Communicate with third-party vendors as pertains to Credit Union needs.•Secure pricing quotes for budgeted and non-budgeted renewals, software, and hardware.•Participate and provide vision for department and Credit Union strategic plans.•Develop a working knowledge of the data processing system and communications systems.•Develop an understanding of the Credit Union history, philosophy, organization, policies & procedures.•Assist in any area as directed by supervisor or member of management.•Fulfill projects as assigned by direct supervisor or member of management.• Community involvement is a requirement of this position as outlined in the ServU Employee Handbook.•Complies with all federal, state, and organizational policies, procedures, and processes, including (but not limited to) the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Performs related responsibilities as required.REQUIREMENTS:•Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment•Experience working with a variety of financial systems and platforms such as Core Banking, Payment Services, Wire systems, ACH, Online and Mobile Banking, Cards, Consumer and Commercial lending LOS, Fraud as well as integration experience with Fintech providers•Database, networking, and security system management efficiency•Willing to work flexible hours when required (including evenings, weekends, and holidays), willing to travel, if necessary, for educational and disaster recovery purposes•Experience presenting information in individual and small group settings•Effective and professional communication skills (verbal, written, and visual).•Detailed organizational skills•Financial institution and/or credit union experience desired•Experience with API Management platforms helpful•Experience in data conversion, analysis, mapping and migration is helpful•Experience managing core system conversions a plusEDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or 3-5 years related experience, orMCSE, CCNA, CISSPThe actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors determined by law.ServU FCU is an Affirmative Action Equal Opportunity Employer. Minimum Salary: 82,872.72 Maximum Salary: 101090.9 Salary Unit: Yearly
