First Choice Staffing is looking for a full time HR Coordinator for an offsite location in Oswego, NY This is a Direct Hire position.
First Choice is looking for a HR Coordinator to join the First Choice Staffing team and implement various human resources programs at an offsite location in Oswego, NY. Must have broad knowledge of human resource functions, from hiring to onboarding and from employee compensation to evaluation. Position requires a wide range of HR tasks, such as Recruiting, maintaining personnel, payroll, and other confidential employee files, Safety training, administering employee benefits and leaves. Tracking of State and Federal mandated paperwork and records. Updating Data base, spreadsheets and training files. Main point of contact for employees on site. Disciplinary actions, attendance follow ups, suspension and termination. On Site Location is in Oswego, NY. Will also need to be able to work in our Liverpool Office to train and occasionally as needed as well.
Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with labor regulations - Recruitment of Industrial and Clerical employees - Onboarding - Maintaining confidential employee files - Safety Training - Disciplinary actions - Attendance Tracking - Direct Supervision of On-site employees
Qualifications: - 1 year experience in Human Resources - Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures - Strong Computer and Spreadsheet skills - Excellent communication and people skills - Aptitude in problem-solving - Desire to work as a team Related HR Experience
Hours: - Monday - Friday
Wages: - $22.00 - $28.00 per hour DOE
