The Richard S. Shineman Foundation located in Oswego,NY is seeking a full time Grant Program and Event Coordinator

Responsibilities -Customer Service -Oversee incoming grant applications and act as the primary contact for potential grantees -Provide guidance to applicants on requirements, timelines, and processes -Evaluate applications for eligibility and alignment with foundation priorities -Prepare summaries for the review committee and board of directors -Maintain accurate records in the grant management system -Track and report application status and outcomes -Communicate decisions and feedback to applicants promptly -Respond to phone and email inquiries -Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and grantees -Conduct outreach and informational sessions on grant opportunities -Provide feedback and guidance to applicants on unsuccessful applications -Collaborate with leadership to ensure clear communication on grant requirements -Ensure compliance with foundation grantmaking policies and procedures -Assist in developing and implementing grant policies and procedures -Analyze grant data for annual reporting -Plan and manage events related to non-profit education and training, including workshops and community meetings -Coordinate event logistics: venue, catering, audiovisual needs, and promotion -Manage event budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness -Evaluate events through feedback and metrics for continuous improvement

Qualifications -Associate's degree or higher preferably in business communication or related field -Organizational and project management skills -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace -Knowledge of the nonprofit sector and community-based organizations preferred

Work hours - 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours. Potential hybrid schedule.

Wage - $42,000.00 per year
