Community Wellness Partners Assistant Controller in Oswego, New York

Position Scope:Assists the Chief Financial Officer and Controller in the coordination of the accounting, reporting, budgeting, purchasing, and data processing procedures for Community Wellness Partners and St. Luke campuses.

Qualifications/Education/Experience: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related degree from an accredited school.

Experience:

  • Three to five years experience in a financial and accounting field.

  • Three to five years experience in a supervisory or management position.

  • A minimum of three years experience in cash management and investments and security transactions.

  • Experience with governmental regulatory agencies required.

  • Experience with computers and spreadsheet applications required.

    Main Position Function:

  • Assists in the supervision of preparing monthly financial statements for Community Wellness Partners and St. Luke campuses by the staff accounting personnel.

  • Cost reporting

  • Provides oversight of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

  • Assists Chief Financial Officer and Controller with all third party payor audits

  • Makes recommendations to the Chief Financial Officer and Controller concerning maximizing revenues and reducing operational costs

  • Manages Finance team of employees at St. Luke, Oswego NY location

  • Other job duties as assigned by CFO and Controller
