Confidential Employer Turkey Farmworker in OREFIELD, Pennsylvania

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties related to the production of turkeys. Turkey farm work will include the following responsibilities: attend to live turkeys for meat products by helping with de-beaking and growing of turkeys; feeding, watering, and cleaning of turkeys to be free of feces and straw; catching, loading and unloading turkeys; moving birds from barn to barn; cleaning and maintaining turkey housing and farm grounds; collecting eggs; assisting with insemination; assisting in hatching eggs; laying straw.

Workers possessing the proper licensure may be asked to transport other farm workers.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have 3 months previous experience with attending to live turkeys. The applicant will be employed from 8/26/2024 to 6/23/2025. Applicants must apply via Pa Careerlink and by contacting the PA Careerlink Lehigh Valley.
