SUNY Oneonta ExCL Center Program Coordinator in Oneonta, New York

This position will foster a comprehensive, collaborative approach to community development and partnerships, addressing needs such as educational collaborations, economic growth, and career development. Additionally, the Program Coordinator will communicate the University's and the ExCL Center's offerings to business, industry, and community partners.The ExCL Center Program Coordinator will administer the delivery of a broad range of professional and continuing education and workforce development initiatives targeting specific populations such as working professionals and lifelong learners. This includes non-credit and credit training, micro-credentials, apprenticeship programs, and other engagement opportunities. This position will also manage the planning and execution of workforce training and educational initiatives at the ExCL Center, including events, classes, and workshops. Furthermore, this role involves providing administrative support for and assisting with communications to market and promote summer and winter session course offerings. To learn more about the University or the ExCL Center, please visit https://suny.oneonta.edu/ or https://suny.oneonta.edu/admissions/extended-learning.Duties include but are not limited to:Manage events, classes, and trainings at the ExCL Center's downtown location.Use events management software to track statistics, maintain databases, and reporting.Collaborate on projects related to workforce development training, apprenticeship programs, credit, and non-credit training, and micro-credentials.Provide administrative support to Director for Summer and Winter sessions.Support learners from initial point of contact through the student's lifecycle.Represent the University and the ExCL Center at job fairs, college fairs, and conduct outreach to develop new employer partnerships.Assist the Associate Director and Director with non-degree student application review and course registration when needed.Salary: $55,151.
