Responsibilities

Complies with bank and investor guidelines in the collection, maintenance, and legal aspects of delinquent and current portfolio and Investor mortgage loans, by supporting the Property Preservation Team and its workflow as part of the CRES Department.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provides assistance to borrowers and venders as related to property preservation
  • Drafts memorandums, letters, and other necessary documents as needed
  • Prepares, reviews, and acts on generated reports by CBNA or vendors, primarily delinquent property tax reports
  • Prepares and or reviews invoices for third party payouts
  • Researches, tracks, and follow-ups on borrower adherence with paying their property taxes
  • Monitors borrower accounts to minimize bank's risk, and ensure compliance with local municipalities, state, federal, and vendor regulations
  • Supports management and senior staff with ordering and reviewing of delinquent real estate accounts' inspections, and executing remedial work for accounts to adhere to regulatory property maintenance guidelines
  • Orders and evaluates appraisals as requested by management and authorized staff
  • Conducts/assists with above responsibilities for both portfolio and investor accounts
  • Colaborates with department staff to ensure borrowers are properly addressed regarding delinquent property taxes
  • Prepares and mails notifications to delinquent borrowers per investor, guarantor, insurer, and/or bank guidelines, as well as mailing notifications supporting the administrative section
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Maintains proficient knowledge of, and demonstrates ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashion.

Ancillary Duties:

  • As an integral member of the Consumer Real Estate Servicing Department, this position is also responsible to provide assistance wherever necessary to help the Consumer Real Estate Servicing Department and the Bank in achieving their annual goals.

Qualifications

Education/Training:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • A.A. or A.S. degree preferred with a business field of study

Skills:

  • Proficient reading, writing, and grammar skills
  • Excellent mathematical skills
  • Proficient communicative skills
  • Ability to create, implement, and maintain workflows based on regulatory guidelines
  • Highly organized; results driven with competency to meet demands of proficiency, effectiveness, and efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data from reports/workbooks with through knoweldge of Excel
  • Must be collaborative, have the ability to adapt and reprioritize, and have an independently objective mindset

Experience:

  • Two (2) years with collections, property management, and/or delinquent property tax management experience preferred


Other Job Information

Hours: 40 hours/week; Monday - Friday 8:00-4:30; some weekends and Holidays may be required

Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
