Siemens Energy Manager of Parts Excellence (f/m/d) in Olean, New York

A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Manager (f/m/d) of Parts Excellence, you will work in a team culture that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities involve developing full transparency of the current parts process, including quoting and execution, by using important metrics and dashboards. Additionally, you will collect and elaborate on ideas to improve and expand the parts business. Finally, you will align and prioritize these ideas with the relevant process owners and stakeholders, such as regions, to identify specific projects. Complete and implement projects throughout the organization. Support process owners during rollout. Maintain and develop pricing and costing models and tools to improve cycle times and efficiency within the parts quoting process. To promote consistency in process development across different service regions, drive the harmonisation of the parts process and support the service management team. In order to increase speed and efficiency, it is recommended to adopt a digital mentality and implement digital solutions across all business processes.

Collaborate with the team to enhance the parts business by increasing speed, reliability, and efficiency, ultimately leading to greater customer satisfaction.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead the team and collaborate with the Service Regions to improve the parts business End2End

  • Develop and implement an improvement roadmap along the entire parts value chain

  • Drive and support effective change management

  • Define the to-be process landscape and implement process transformation including system adoption, methods and tools

What You Bring

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in an Engineering field, or related technical area

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within CP or a similar environment

  • Team lead skills to ensure a motivated and focused team

  • Highly experienced in the area of process improvement and project execution

  • Proactive, analytical and result-oriented

  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to develop good working relationships (internal and external)

  • Fluency in English (both verbal and written)

  • Passionate, creative attitude and purpose driven

This job may be based in Olean or Painted Post, New York.   Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.  Details regarding our benefits can be found here: https://benefitsatenergy.com/thinking-of-joining.html. The base salary range for this position in Olean and Painted Post, New York is $75,000 - $125,000.

Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
