Data Device Corporation (DDC) Mechanical Assembly Technician in Oceanside, New York
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Assembly Technician at DDC Technologies in Oceanside, NY. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as performing a wide variety of production assembly, development and repair/refurbishment work on mechanical and electronic assemblies using hand tools and power tools and ensuring quality control standards are met. This involves mechanical as well as electrical wiring operations; includes fitting and alignment of parts to close tolerances using appropriate hand and power tools.
Responsibilities: oAssemble mechanical components and systems according to engineering specifications and assembly drawings. oPerform quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards. oTroubleshoot and resolve assembly issues in a timely manner. oCollaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve assembly processes. oMaintain a clean and organized work environment. oDocument assembly processes and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements: oMechanical Assembly, Hand Tools, and Power Tools experience oExperience in Quality Control oAttention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions oAbility to work effectively in a team environment oPrevious experience in a similar role is a plus oTechnical training or certification in mechanical assembly is beneficial
