Employee-Owned Thermo-Twin Windows is seeking candidates for the Maintenance Department

We are looking for a skilled Equipment Technician to ensure our manufacturing equipment operates at its best. As an integral member of our team, you will handle regular maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the machinery used on our production floor. Your technical skills and dedication to machine upkeep will directly impact our operational efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and inspections of machinery to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair any issues with manufacturing equipment.
• Install new equipment and ensure proper set-up and integration into manufacturing processes.
• Keep detailed records of machine service histories.
• Analyze machine operations and output to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management about equipment status and maintenance needs.
• Provide training and guidance to other technical staff when necessary.
• Stay updated on industry advancements in manufacturing technology.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Equipment Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings.
• High school diploma required; further education or certification in Engineering or related field is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Aptitude for working under pressure and managing emergencies.
