Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative in the banking industry, based in Oak Ridge, New Jersey. As a Customer Service Representative, you will handle a variety of tasks, including deposit processing, customer service, and data entry. This role involves working in a back-office setting, communicating with various teams, and handling a high volume of calls and emails.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer deposits accurately and efficiently

• Provide excellent customer service to resolve inquiries

• Maintain and update customer records in the banking system

• Collaborate with legal, branch, and call center teams to ensure correct distribution of incoming and outgoing mail

• Manage wire transfers and work closely with the fraud team to ensure security

• Handle a high volume of calls and emails, prioritizing and responding within established timelines

• Participate in a comprehensive training program to fully understand the specific functions and operations of the role. Requirements • Prior experience of a minimum of 1 year in a customer service role within the banking industry is required

• Proficiency in customer service skills, with the ability to handle and resolve customer queries and complaints effectively

• Knowledge of banking industry regulations, practices, and products is necessary

• Proficiency in data entry skills, with attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and banking personnel

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills to address customer issues in a timely and effective manner

• Familiarity with banking software and applications would be advantageous

• High level of professional ethics and compliance to banking regulations

• Willingness to participate in professional development and training sessions

• Ability to work in a team environment, contributing to a collaborative work atmosphere.
