Salary: Professional Rate ($35/hour) per the GTA Contract

Report Times: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Daily Hours: Various

Minimum Requirements:
Current GCSD teacher
Certified Teacher
Effective of Highly Effective as defined by the District Teacher Performance Review Process
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the master schedule and scheduling process
Ability to communicate and problem solve with administration and scheduling team
Knowledge of course requirements at all grade levels/Part 100 Regs.

Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Review course request and staffing allocations/implications on master schedule
Create course in Infinite Campus
Assign courses to students
Balance classes
Collaborates with the scheduling team to maintain services and programs (i.e. SPED, ENL, Music Programs)
Ensure all student needs are taken into consideration when making placements for all classes.
Print and review student schedules for accuracy
Create teacher schedules with professional responsibility time built in
Assign room usage and supervision in collaboration with building Administrator
Master Schedulers may include but are not limited to: Adapting to changing priorities, communicating with diverse groups of individuals, maintaining confidentiality, working as part of a team, setting priorities and working under minimal supervision, working with time constraints.
