Tioga Downs is hiring a Lead EVS Attendant

This is just a fancy way of saying we need someone to be in charge of our cleaning crew.

EVS (custodians) mainly clean the casino floor and main guest areas.

  • Responsible for the overall supervision of the EVS (custodial) functions in the absence of the Director of Facilities.

  • Assists in the selection, training, supervision and evaluation of the EVS (Cleaning) attendants.

  • Recommends and suggests hiring, transferring, suspending, assigning, evaluating, and discharging all subordinate associates on assigned shift.

  • Responsible for maintaining safety programs to ensure all associates and customers are provided a safe, hazard-free establishment.

  • Conducts daily inspections of property to ensure efficient EVS (Janitorial) operations and maintains a clean environment for guests and performers.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The associate frequently is required to stand; walk, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Associate is occasionally required to sit.

The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
