What will you be doing as a Branch Manager?

  • Strategically plans and directs sales to promote new markets, improve competitive position, and provide fast and efficient customer service.

  • Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.

  • Confers with potential customers to ascertain equipment, supplies, and service needs.

  • Advises customers on types of equipment to purchase, considering such factors as costs, space availability, and intended use.

  • Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in sales and service accounting and recordkeeping and receiving and shipping operations.

  • Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others.

  • Includes staff in planning, decision-making, facilitating and process improvement.

  • Takes responsibility for subordinates' activities; available to staff; provides regular performance feedback; develops subordinates' skills and encourages growth.

  • Solicits and applies customer feedback (internal and external); fosters quality focus in others; improves processes, products and services; continually works to improve supervisory skills.

  • Assist HR in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Required Qualifications:

    What we are looking for in a Branch Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years progressive management experience, preferably in the HVAC/R wholesale business; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proven knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Proven knowledge of mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

  • Ability to multi-task and work on various projects simultaneously keeping them on track and providing clear status updates. The ability to respond to frequently shifting priorities is a must.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Eclipse order processing systems.

    Salary

    $100-115k annually
