The Director, People & Culture Communications will lead the implementation of inspiring, purposeful communications that cultivate employee engagement and effectiveness and drive business outcomes. This involves working in close partnership with senior leaders and internal stakeholders across Prudentials global businesses and corporate functions to help leaders effectively empower their teams and ensure that employees have the information and support needed to do impactful work in support of business strategy.
The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
What you can expect:
Build out and implement storytelling strategies on topics that amplify positive elements of Prudentials unique company culture and the impact and value of employee offerings, including talent development, internal mobility and rewards programs.
Provide strategic direction and consultation for cyclical HR-related employee communication (i.e., performance management, annual enrollment, engagement surveys, etc.) and employee program enhancements/changes (i.e., policy changes, benefits or L&D, etc.) that require awareness and understanding, making connections across programming when possible.
Support strategic efforts to improve manager effectiveness and equip leaders of people with the skills and resources needed to feel confident in leading engaged, inclusive, and productive teams.
Use employee feedback and data on the effectiveness of communication efforts to inform and approach to message development and execution.
Engage with a diverse set of communication channels, tools and forums including the company intranet, digital meeting platforms, email distribution software, reporting dashboards, etc. Use appropriate internal channel management to ensure employees have access to the information they need, when and where they need and expect it.
What youll need:
10 years of professional communications experience, within a business consultancy, communications or marketing agency.
Bachelors degree in a related field of study.
Expertise in leading successful development, advancement and execution of internal communication strategies that transform complex concepts into broadly digestible and compelling narratives and yield successful business outcomes.
Experience working with People/HR concepts including employee experience/engagement, DEI, total rewards, wellness, change management, leadership, learning, and talent management.
Strong executive presence; comfortable providing confident strategic counsel to leadership and other internal stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
Demonstrate sound leadership in ambiguous or high-pressure situations..
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle simultaneous projects, drive processes, integrate concepts across the organization and lead through influence.
Outstanding writing and editing skills, with experience writing for both leadership and general employee audiences.
Creativity, proactivity, and a client-centric approach.
It'd be a plus if you had:
Experience with video, podcasts and visual storytelling.
Experience with external employer brand content strategy (employee value proposition).
