Manage large amounts of financial data, organize data, ensure integrity of data, monitor data collection, and develop tools in conjunction with quantitative research team to make best use of data. Manage day-to-day operations for a high-frequency financial trading system. Act as technical/operational “First Point of Contact” for daily trading operations. Validate positions and necessary instrument details before the trading day begins, monitor real-time trade feeds to compare house and street trades for accuracy during the trade day, and parse end-of-day statements to validate total positions have been properly reflected internally. Perform systems development and maintenance to support new trading initiatives and to improve existing processes. Perform complex systems analysis, problem solving, and troubleshooting. Reconcile back-office records to production trades for everything on proprietary trading and back-office platforms. Perform reconciliations including Stock Position Reconciliation, Cash Position Reconciliation, Profit and Loss Reconciliations, and Internal systems reconciliations. Validate the sum of all prior day’s trades sum to the same net balance as seen on various third-party statements. Determine how much money the company made/lost on a daily basis relative to current market prices. Ensure the validity of trade details across multiple internal systems including details about instruments traded, where/when/how executions took place, as well as any other valuable trade details for a given day. Engage in systems development and maintenance to support new trading initiatives and to improve existing processes. Work closely with the accounting team to ensure the validity of these financial records on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Bachelor’s or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computational Science, Computational Finance, Statistics, Quantitative Management, Finance Management, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
