Job Description :

News Corp, a global media and information services company, is looking for a Project Manager to join our exceptional Enterprise Solutions organization! This individual will be an integral member of the Enterprise Solutions team and will be tasked with planning and organizing the activities of the team to handle coordination with technical managers and resources. Additionally, the Project Manager is required to translate business requirements through analysis and design into functional solutions, and to work on a variety of ad hoc projects. This individual will be working within the existing project management team ensuring the successful delivery of enterprise technology solutions. The team includes internal employees, delivery partner resources, and consultants.

Project Manager (Technology)

Job Responsibilities:

● Work with team members to develop project plan(s) incorporating both technical, functional, operational, and business tasks along with detailed cutover activities

● Provides status reporting to project leadership and key stakeholders involved in coordination of activities

● Ensures entry into and exit out of stage gates are met

● Acts as a point of escalation for issues, proactively bringing about appropriate interventions when timelines may be jeopardized

● Coordinates cutover activities for pre and post go-live

● Tracking of cutover and conversion deliverables resolving discrepancies or process issues relating to cutover

● Develops back-out and contingency plans

● Coordinates requirements for go-live

● Monitors relevant project data and progress

● Communicate with the leadership team including status, progress, issues, etc.

Required & Preferred Qualifications

● Relevant project management and cutover management experience

● Skilled in customer facing activities covering requirements gathering, data preparation, cutover support and documentation preparation

● Prior technology implementation experience with large global, multinational organizations

● Ability to define and execute multiple detailed activity plans simultaneously

● Ability to conduct and facilitate workshops with business representatives, management and executive, team member resources, and external third party groups

● Effective written and verbal communicator

● Good understanding of information technology functions

● Experience deploying corporate finance, HR, and procurement SAAS solutions and Cloud-based ERPs

● Experience deploying desktop support, help desk, and IT asset management solutions, including ServiceNow

● Comfortable in adapting working hours to align with demands of communication across multiple global time zones

● Relevant certifications are desirable

Pay Range: $75 per hour - $95 per hour converted into a daily rate based on an 8 hour day.
