Yahoo Holdings Inc. seeks Sr Software Apps Engineer - (AGJAMK) in New York, NY.Job Duties: Create and manage documentation as appropriate related to creation of desktop manuals, test scenarios, test conditions, and test scripts; Plan and Perform User Acceptance Testing for deployment; Plan and perform various test cycles including integration and system testing; Plan and Perform Conference Room Pilot sessions for deployment; Collect requirements for building and supporting business applications; Analyze and design short- and long-term solutions for the and Finance systems; Works with operations, security and infrastructure teams to ensure adherence to Yahoo Inc standards; Plan, organize and conduct workshops to facilitate discussions and decisions for building business applications; Design and Deploy Custom Solutions leveraging Oracle E-Business Suite; Work with other business systems analysts and the development team in converting the business solution into technical designs; Work with Revenue, Billing and Collection business process owners and relevant Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements to technology solutions related to Revenue, Billing, Collection and accounting applications; Responsible for leading Revenue, Billing and Collection area, supporting and optimizing the Finance platform including and not restricted to accounting applications; Partners with relevant Finance Process Owners to prioritize and implement enhancements; Lead Finance projects and contractors on projects; Plan, organize and conduct training to end users for deploying business solutions; Provide Production support to rolled out projects; and Provide Production support for month end close activities. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field, and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Senior Business Systems Analyst, Software Apps Engineer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 6 years performing each of the following special skills:Special Skills:1.Oracle tools and languages such as SQL, PLSQL, Forms, Reports, Workflow, BI Publisher, Web ADI, OA Framework and Unix/Linux Shell scripts;2.Oracle E-business suite R11i and R12 primarily in the following Oracle Financials (General Ledger (GL), Account Payables (AP), Account Receivables (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), CashManagement (CM), Subledger Accounting (SLA), Purchasing (PO), Payments and iProcurement) and supply chain modules;3.Support Oracle users in their daily business solutions including system training and production issue troubleshooting of the Oracle R12 Functional modules;4.Expertise in Automation of Order to Cash (O2C) and procure to pay (P2P) business process, month end activities and system integrations;5.Perform end to end functional testing and support the various SOX audits on different controls on financial system.Telecommute role, may work remotely from anywhere in the US.Salary: $147,285.00 - $266,875.00 per year.
