Amazon Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Content Strategy, Amazon Ads in New York, New York

Description

We're seeking an experienced content strategist to drive strategic product communications and knowledge management across our Ads organization. This role combines editorial excellence, strategic thinking, and cross-functional partnership to ensure our teams stay informed and aligned on product developments and industry trends. The ideal candidate has curiosity about the advertising landscape (both internally and externally) and a deep understanding on the needs of their end customer. This is a highly visible role that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, offering the opportunity to shape how our organization communicates and aligns around product development and innovation.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own, execute, and refine the weekly Ads-wide Product Marketing newsletter program. This person will serve as editor-in-chief and be able to autonomously source from internal and external sources to create a compelling newsletter for readers. This person will test and learn on format, design, and content to drive engagement based on voice-of-customer feedback and internal metrics. The newsletter will cover topics such as: Products and ad solutions throughout development stages (Alpha, Beta, GA Launch); Critical resource updates and sales enablement materials (pitch decks, case studies); Industry news and competitive intelligence

  • Partner with Business Intelligence to extract product health metrics into digestable newsletter/reporting formats that are shareable with the most senior-levels of the organization.

  • Drive Product Marketing internal event communications, including managing how the organization will be represented at internal conferences and all-hands, and developing corresponding materials.

  • Collaborate on internal and external-facing product roadmap presentations, working with design partners and stakeholders to develop best-in-class presentation materials to take roadmap to market

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills

  • Strong project management and organizational abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

  • Experience in advertising technology or digital marketing

  • Experience in technical writing/copy editing

  • Experience with product lifecycle management and go-to-market strategies

  • Comfortable working with data analysis and reporting

  • Event planning and presentation development experience

  • Knowledge of internal communication tools and platforms

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
