DoubleVerify Inc. has an opening for Sr. Director of Engineering - Social Integrations in New York, NY. Duties: Lead the Social Integrations Engineering department. Manage 8 direct reports, including Software Engineers and Data Engineers. Responsible for new initiatives, designs, and builds deep integrations with the world’s biggest social platforms to measure ad performance. Make technical decisions that ensure industry-leading scalability reliability factors on mission-critical systems that process billions of real-time transactions a day. Work with engineers from the largest internet companies to collaborate on API development. Develop critical, large-scale distributed services for the company’s Social Integration products. Own major strategic initiatives that consistently and routinely push forward all of the Engineering teams that build Social Integration platforms. Deliver large complex projects, services, and APIs that scale in an iterative way that frontloads business value. Oversee end-to-end integrations with the rapidly increasing list of Social Integration Platforms. Define processes and structures that enable the strong growth and execution of a diverse engineering organization. Contribute to architectural decisions with a focus on the product and business needs. Continuously explore the technical landscape of the Big Data ecosystem through analysis of various frameworks and technologies. Provide technical guidance and coaching to engineers through brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and pair-programming. Interact internally and externally with executive-level management, requiring negotiation of highly critical matters. Communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders as well as communicates business objectives to the technical teams. Interview, hire, and onboard talented engineers and team leaders to build a shared team of Data and Software Engineers. Optimize software development lifecycle processes, including through the implementation of continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment. May telecommute part time. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Computer Engineering-related occupation. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.
