Maven Clinic Co seeks Senior Software Engineer in New York, NY. Duties: Demonstrate command over their primary languages, tools, and systems including Python, Java, Javascript, Go, SQL, APIs, Cloud ecosystems(GCP, AWS, or Azure) and service oriented architecture; Implements code that is clear, concise, tested, and easily understood by others; Understands their team's domain well and can gather sufficient context to work productively within it and mentor others on it; Consistently design code that is scalable and easily understood by other engineers using Python, Java, Javascript or any modern programming language; Strong knowledge of secure application and database development to incorporate security best practices into architectural designs and feedback as well as initiate technical projects to eliminate vulnerabilities; Writing unit tests as well as higher level tests; Tune and change the monitoring on their team as needed and remain aware of the operational data for their team’s domain and uses it as a basis for suggesting stability and performance improvements; Active participant in writing, reading, and reviewing RFCs.Telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. is permitted. This position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations. Must have experience in all of the following: 4 years of experience in REST API design; 4 years of experience in Unit testing and Integration testing; 4 years of experience in Python or other Object-oriented programming languages; 3 years of experience in Large scale system design; 3 years of experience in SQL Databases & NoSQL Databases; 3 years of experience in Microservices; 3 years of experience in Cloud Technologies like AWS and/or GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
