Amazon Senior Program Manager, Brand Excellence in New York, New York

Description

The Brand Excellence team strives to offer Amazon customers the best possible shopping experience with the top brands offered for sale in the Amazon Store. The team manages an Amazon policy that holds high standards for customer experience across Amazon’s core inputs of pricing, selection, and delivery speed. The team’s programmatic work spans the consumer business, working with counterparts in the Retail and the 3P businesses. The team owns and interprets the policy, leads the strategic direction for how we can best preserve the customer shopping experience on our highest profile brands, and owns both programs and tech tools/systems to achieve our objectives.

In this role, you’ll work closely with team leaders across Brand Excellence, owning projects that drive an improved customer shopping experience on our top brands. The right candidate will have an intense drive to get to the root cause of complex issues and enjoys deep diving. The right candidate will also thrive on challenges to simplify complex/redundant operational processes, and has a successful track record of simplifying business processes. We value candidates that are independent operators, have strong written communication skills, and a desire to solve complex problems by deploying quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Key job responsibilities

  • Work closely with program/product managers, account managers, and data team on projects that drive an improved customer experience on the top brands in our Store.

  • Streamline/automate manual processes and increase team’s core output efficiency.

  • Dive deep into data to find patterns for the problems that Sellers and customers face in our program.

  • Demonstrate strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Establish and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, identify and pursue collaboration opportunities cross-org.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
