Enterprise Data Governance & Platforms (EDGP) is part of the larger Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS) organization.  EDGP improves the customer experience and drives business growth through robust enterprise-wide data policies and governance and enabling a data-driven culture, while developing digital and data platforms that provide insightful customer relationships and allow users to leverage enterprise-wide data capabilities.

Enterprise Data Sharing Solutions (EDSS) is part of the Enterprise Data Governance, Digital & Data Platforms (EDGP) organization, which sits within Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS).  EDSS improves Amex data privacy & data sharing through the implementation of modern data sharing capabilities and strategies that enable faster speed to market while enhancing safe sharing connections.  To support the roll-out of our evolving digital capabilities, we are embarking on an exciting and transformational journey to define and govern our Web ecosystem at American Express.

The Senior Manager, Product Management – Web Governance will be part of the team tasked with delivering a product suite and program that aims to catalogue and monitor our Web ecosystem as well as supporting the efficient and consistent roll-out of key growth and compliance features across our sites.  Partnered significantly with our Technologies colleagues, this role will support enterprise change management from roll out and adoption of web standards, tools, processes and remediation efforts, and will partner with lines of business, experience owners, second line, and others to coordinate delivery of end-to-end solutions and process enhancements. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Define strategy and oversee all socialization and change management activities for the Web Governance team. This is in relation to any web standard review or feedback sessions, web standard/process/tools roll out, training sessions, andcoordination for any remediation activities with teams or business units in relation to enforcing web standards.

  • Coordinate across the Web Governance Product, Digital Tracking Product, Program Management team, Engineering and Global Privacy teams to successfully deliver Web Governance initiativesincluding new product solutioning and alignment of capabilities and operational processes.

  • Oversee close partnership of key web stakeholders and forming a community of practice to push our roadmap of web ecosystem monitoring and remediation activities

  • As the first use case for consistent functionality, coordinate with the Digital Tracking Platform team to ensure aligned roadmap and support of their in-flight remediation program.

  • Coordination and socialization of risk and feasibility-based use case prioritization with BU partners and Internal Audit.

  • Closely partner with site and experience owners to bring them along the web governance journey, including foundational need of reviewing and validating URLs in the enterprise

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple lines of business.

Qualification Requirements:

  • 5 years of demonstrated excellence in leading large programs and initiatives across the enterprise, with some elements of change management.

  • Generally, tool savvy orflexibility in picking up new tooling skills.

  • Highly organized and self-motivated individual who can combine problem-resolution, insights-driven prioritization, and ability to influence to achieve critical business goals.

  • Rigorous attention to detail, with demonstratedproficiency in creating transparent, well-communicated, and scalable processes, while leading the implementation of those processes across a matrixed environment.

  • Confidence in decision-making in complex & ambiguous situations; comfortable troubleshooting and aligning conflicting interests.

  • Well versed in current industry best practices regardingproduct solution design anddelivery disciplines.

  • A good acumen for data slicing and dicing, while deriving high level insights and recommendations is a plus.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefits
