COMPENSATION
Salary Range: Min.119,377 to Max. $169,439 / Grade A
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for providing oversight, tracking, and support of Department of Subways (DOS) interaction with MTA Inspector General, MTA Audit Services, MTA Corporate Compliance, NYS Comptroller’s Office, and other auditing bodies both external and internal to MTA. This position supports the Chief of Staff & Organizational Strategy in providing a systems-level approach and are not limited to an individual operating division’s subject matter expertise, in responding effectively to Subways-relevant audits, and ensuring the successful implementation of all Subways’ owned audit recommendation/corrective actions. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining unified response schedules, accounting for interdependency impacts and interactions between divisions, and ensuring stakeholders understanding of requirements and expectations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Baccalaureate Degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Law, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related/satisfactory equivalent along with ten (10) years of full-time related experience, and three (7) years in a managerial/supervisory capacity.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Strong interpersonal, analytic, problem-solving, organization, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to rapidly comprehend, analyze, and investigate complex business documents and reports.
Proven ability to author professional executive-level briefing documents, presentations, and public responses.
Excellent judgment and ability to work independently on matters of significant corporate scope and complexity.
Proven experience as a change agent and creative/innovative thinker who can align business goals with impactful solutions and drive business process improvements.
Proven skills in effectively providing oversight on a vast suite of intersecting projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software.
