Job Summary:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will:

· Be responsible for the entire lifecycle of projects or features including technical design, development, and deployment.

· Improve code structure and architecture in service of testability and maintainability.

· Write, co-write, and review design documentation.

· Prioritize unowned or undesirable work that enables the team to move faster.

· Monitor application health. Troubleshoot release and application issues, while communicating status to the rest of the team.

· Manage and improve CI/CD workflow.

· Manage and build in a multi-cloud infrastructure environment using modern IAC tools.

· Determine appropriate risk levels & disaster recovery for releases.

· Assist and teach other engineers on an individual basis.

Qualifications

· Engineers typically acquire the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to meet the expectations of this level with a relevant Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of relevant industry or academic experience.

· 5 plus years of experience working with AWS and a proven track record of building complex infrastructure

· 5 plus years of experience with AWS design, architecture and services (EC2, IAM, S3 etc)

· Highly repeatable tools and processes to automate supporting deployment processes with:

o 5 years in container technologies, Docker/Kubernetes, Network Policy, Ingress, Helm

o 5 years in CI/CD (Jenkins,Nexus, Github Action,Argo CD etc..)

o 5 years in GIT workflow

o 5 years in scripte languages, Python/Shell/Go

o 5 years in Infrastructure as Code, Terraform

· Experience architecting and maintaining high-availability production systems.

· Highly proficient in one or more technical areas.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Debugging and incident resolution skills have been practiced in an on-call environment.

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and technical teams.

· Track record of continuously developing and improving self and team.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $102,000 to $165,750. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
