Senior Associate, Global Quality - HP @ Harry’s, Inc. (New York, NY) Create and implement quality standards (i.e., process mapping, Process FMEA, process control plans, IQ, OQ, PQ, MSA/GR&R, SPC, DOE) and inspection processes for new Packaging for Soft and Hard Products (personal care) being developed by Harry's Inc., and ensure that we continue to deliver high-value quality products in a timely and cost-effective fashion. Validate new tooling, packaging materials, and finished goods production of our new product pipeline from pilot cavity through mass production tooling utilizing SPC data to ensure the supplier’s process capabilities meet industry standards. Develop secondary tooling to provide additional supply chain capacity to support our growing brands. Support APQP process in diagnosing customer complaints and driving corrective actions by working with the Packaging Development team and suppliers to change manufacturing processes, test methods, quality systems, and product designs. Work with cross-functional teams in R&D, Supply Chain, and Engineering and third-party manufacturing partners globally to execute Supplier Quality Management and Supplier Development strategies. Execute supplier audits, CAPA’s, and monitor metrics. Salary: $124,373 / year. 40 hours / week (from 9a.m. to 5p.m.). Requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in consumer products manufacturing. Experience must include: mechanical material properties of polymers and packaging components (e.g., aerosols, pumps, closures, bottles, tubes, or paperboard materials); Tolerance and Stack Analysis; analyzing and interpreting dimensional and functional data to ensure product specifications are met; using Statistical Analytic tools in manufacturing; 3D CAD software; working cross-functionally to launch products and execute projects.To apply, email HRBenefits@harrys.com.
