Edelman Holdings network, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our new and growing wellness and beauty group. The Senior Account Executive should bring experience in the beauty and personal care categories along with solid experience in account management to be leveraged across several of the team's new, highly visible accounts.

This role will play a pivotal role in supporting the team in executing with excellence. This opportunity is perfect for a smart, gutsy, self-starting PR practitioner who would like to grow their career.

Responsibilities

    • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the public relations industry and its basic principles
    • Understand key client information, including business strategy, industry issues, products and services, key customers, and competitors
    • Provide client service administration, including preparing client status and activity reports, attending meetings and conference calls, compiling media and competitor coverage, coordinating press tour pitching, scheduling, and logistics
    • Research, outline, write, edit, and proofread materials including press materials, and awards submissions
    • Proactively develop and offer fresh story angles to internal account teams and clients
    • Build a network of media and industry contacts
    • Assist with research, including analysis of media coverage and online conversations
    • Demonstrate a general knowledge of social media tools
    • Manage projects using organizational skills, working with colleagues, vendors, and support agencies, and keeping project leaders apprised of status
    • Help mentor Account Executives and Assistant Account Executives
    • Support team leads in budget management


Basic Qualifications
    • At least two to three years of relevant experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields
    • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience


Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience working with beauty or personal care clients strongly preferred
    • Proactive self-starter with excellent organizational and project management skills, and the ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines.
    • An affinity for storytelling and an ability to generate creative ideas, take risks, and think big


$52, 000 - $77, 000 a year

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
