Job Description
Research Development and Outreach Manager (RDOM)
Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Research Development and Outreach Manager (RDOM) in the Monitoring & Outreach Unit in Research & Project Administration. We're looking for a self-directed professional to support our faculty and make an impact in our funding development and Responsible Conduct of Research programs.
This position is a hybrid position to allow some travel to campus.
Role Overview:
Provide customer-focused support to faculty to identify relevant funding opportunities
Develops and maintains a robust range of resources which inform application development and promote funding success
Develop and implement department/program and PI-specific funding development strategies to stimulate MSKs research funding pipeline
Manage and administer the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) program
Develop, coordinate and deliver education and outreach programming to faculty and staff
(Education and) Key Qualifications:
2-4 years experience in a related field, ideally in a research administration environment performing duties similar to the above
Core Skills:
Ability to develop and complete projects with minimal supervision
Skilled in working effectively with faculty, staff and external funding agencies
Strong client service and communication skills
Ability to interact and communicate with a diverse group of individuals
Experience reading and interpreting funding opportunity announcements
Knowledge of pre-award grant submission process
Experience with the federal application requirements and policy regulations
Additional Information:
Location: Hybrid
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Reporting to the Associate Director, Monitoring & Outreach
Pay Range: $88,800 - $142,200
