Work as part of a cross-functional team for collaboration beyond mechanical engineering. Use mechanical engineering fundamentals, prototyping skills, CAD fluency, manufacturing process knowledge, and experience designing consumer electronics to contribute to mechanical solutions. Model, build, test, and refine prototypes and characterization test systems, and work through the full product development cycle from concept inception to shipping. Collaborate and manage work with global supply chains and distributed engineering teams. Utilize state of the art technologies and approaches to solve complex mechanical problems while working with cross-functional technical teams.Requirements:Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field, and three years of work experience in job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.Requires three years of experience in the following:1. 3D and 2D CAD (NX, SolidWorks, or Creo);2. Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T);3. Design for Manufacturability (DFM);4. Design for Assembly (DFA);5. Designing prototypes, utilizing a variety of manufacturing techniques including 3D printing, CNC machining, and casting;6. Statistical Tolerance Analysis;7. Material properties such as plastics, metals, or adhesives;8. Design for high volume manufacturing techniques such as injection molding, stamping, extruding, or die-casting;9. Design of products requiring cosmetic surface treatments and interfacing with Industrial Design teams;10. Working with complex electromechanical assemblies.

Minimum Salary: 213,291 Maximum Salary: 231,110 Salary Unit: Yearly
