Your Opportunity

Stantec is currently looking for a highly skilled program management information system (PMIS) Implementation Consultant to be part of the team. In this role, you will focus on the configuration, implementation, integration, rollout, training, maintenance and troubleshooting of multiple programs’ PMIS solutions. You will be a critical member of the team, and support various programs to help successfully deliver for our clients’ needs efficiently and on time. Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct information gathering sessions with clients, analyzing the information and prioritizing the requirements to gain understanding of the business needs and support the business plans

  • Assist in developing RFQ/RFP packages, including system and business requirements that support the procurement of COTS tools

  • Responsible for the PMIS implementation, configuration, and administration of COTS systems to meet client and program requirements

  • Prepare and deliver training on the configured systems to the program teams

  • Coordinate the review of designed solutions with key stakeholders

  • Perform data extraction and data analysis as demanded for the program and project management usage

  • Develop custom reports utilizing reporting software

  • Support the integration of the PMIS with key Program systems, including financial software, Primavera P6, document management systems, SharePoint and Autodesk to support programs performance and reporting as a whole.

  • Communicate deployment status to non-technical stakeholders effectively

  • Assist with Business Process development regarding data gathering and analysis

  • Collaborate with Controls teams (and other teams) to resolve data related issues.

  • Assist Program Controls Managers with document control, document management, scheduling, and cost controls functions, as required.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Strong understanding of computer applications

  • Knowledge of architecture, engineering, and construction processes

  • Demonstrated ability to both maximize the utility of computer systems and assist, explain and coach others in such systems.

  • Experience with project management or comparable enterprise information system

  • Demonstrated customer service and technical support experience serving a diverse base of users with varying levels of technical expertise

  • Knowledge of project budget development, scheduling, tracking, and controls

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work within deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated excellence in oral, written, and graphic communication

  • Experience with Trimble Unity Construct Powered by eBuilder, Kahua, PMWeb, ProCore or similar COTS PMIS solutions

  • Experience implementing new enterprise information systems

  • Knowledge of design and construction practices

  • Experience with the budgeting, planning, design, and construction

  • Knowledge of project finance and financial systems

  • Knowledge of scheduling and Primavera P6

  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams), SharePoint and Power BI

  • Knowledge of GIS, CAD, and BIM software

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Informatics, Design, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or other relevant discipline

  • Minimum 2-4 years of responsible and practical experience in the administration of enterprise architecture, engineering and/or construction project management software systems – or any combination of education and experience to successfully perform the role.

  • PMP certification, highly desired

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s):

Salary Range(s):

  • NYC $45.00 Per Hour / Outside NYC $36.00 Per Hour - NYC $66.00 Per Hour / Outside NYC $52.00 Per Hour Min/Max Pay Range(s) for postings located in MN, NYC/NY

  • $40 - $58 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CO, HI, MD and IL

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.

Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.

The benefits information listed above may not apply to union positions because benefits for such positions are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreements.
