Physician Assistant. Provide pre and postoperative care to patients in the outpatient electrophysiology practice at Mount Sinai Hospital New York, NY. Perform assessment/interrogation of Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators (ICDs), Implantable Loop Recorder (ILRs), & Permanent Pacemakers (PPMs), evaluating threshold, sensitivity & recognizing, determining cause & treating abnormalities. Review arrhythmia list & differentiating arrhythmias. Provide recommendations & reprogram device as needed. Perform triage on patients w/ post procedure device implant complications. 7 am to 5 pm. BS in Physician Assistant or Physician Associate. NCCPA certification reqd. Must qualify for NYS Physician Assistant license. Annual wage $127,689.00.
