Robert Half Office Manager in New York, New York

Description We are offering a role based in New York, New York, for an Office Manager to join our team. This position is a short term contract employment opportunity in the telecom provider industry, where your main duties will encompass administrative tasks to ensure efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.

Responsibilities:

• Answering the general phone line and greeting visitors

• Signing for packages and managing incoming and outgoing mail

• Scheduling meetings and conference calls, including setting up and resetting conference rooms as needed

• Managing calendars and emails

• Processing expense reports as necessary

• Providing general administrative support including file management, faxing, photocopying, and printing

• Ordering and maintaining office and kitchen supplies

• Coordinating in-office celebrations and events

• Knowledge and use of Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing Functions, and Customer Service skills. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook

• Experience with Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform billing functions efficiently and accurately

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions independently

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture

• Experience in office management or a similar role is preferred

• High attention to detail and accuracy in all work

• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
