In this role, you will play an integral role on the healthcare team, providing skilled care to patients requiring inpatient clinic services. Job Duties • Assist in the safe and effective care of residents under the direct supervision of licensed professional nurses • Provide care to individuals residing in long-term care facilities and in need of physical-psychosocial care or rehabilitation • Escort patients within the facility to/from inpatient clinic appointments such as: Dental, Podiatry, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Radiology (X-Ray), Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) • The duties of a nurse aide vary dependent upon resident needs and individualized nursing plans of care Minimum Qualifications • Maintain New York State certification • Ability to effectively communicate with patients • Provide compassionate and reliable care • Work as part of a team • Follow oral and written instructions About InGenesis InGenesis is one of the largest staffing firms in the industry and is among the largest diversity-owned healthcare staffing firms in North America.
