Oversee the preparation of multitrade cost estimates for the company’s export trade business and schedule and approve bid proposals, including rates, capacity commitments, and added value propositions. Oversee the collection and analysis of historical cost data to provide bids guidelines for export multitrade services. Review customer tender documents and analyze freight shipping requirements of export multitrade clients, including special handling, shipping locations and pick up/delivery/transit time requirements. Consult with procurement staff, trade line analysts and logistics specialists to review equipment and space availability. Research market conditions and forecast market trends to assess opportunities for cost reduction. Review client financial risk data and credit risk analysis. Monitor micro- and macro-economic world events in order to forecast their impact on oceanic shipping and transportation and oversee the formulation of pricing strategies and bids accordingly. Oversee export multitrade client contract negotiations and monitor and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the bid process.Salary: $53,000/year. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as business development analyst, freight accounting specialist or related. The two (2) years of experience must be in the U.S. freight forwarding, container carrying, or shipping industry and must include experience with:•Researching market conditions and forecasting market trends in the freight forwarding or shipping industry•Monitoring economic world events in order to forecast their impact on oceanic shipping and transportation

Minimum Salary: 53,000 Maximum Salary: 53,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
