Managing Director (Equity Derivative Sales) for BNP Paribas Securities Corp. in New York, NY, will act as the head of the Equity derivatives Solutions for Hedge Funds and Asset Managers in America. Will serve within the bank’s Equity Derivative Sales division to provide sales, trading, and structuring of various equity derivative products globally. Will promote the resources offered to the bank’s client base, comprised of hedge funds and asset managers. Will conduct quantitative analysis and trade structuring and manage the trade execution for clients. Will apply in-depth knowledge of the regulatory rules that affect the European banking system to perform financial and market analysis and identify and quantify the risks related to any strategies offered to the clients. Will create marketing materials and presentations to highlight the bank’s capabilities and unique product offerings. Requires: Master's degree in International Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five (5) years’ experience as a Managing Director (Equity Derivatives Sales), or related occupation providing sales, trading, and structuring of equity derivative products globally within an international bank or international financial services organization. OR, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in International Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and seven (7) years’ experience as a Managing Director (Equity Derivatives Sales), or related occupation providing sales, trading, and structuring of equity derivative products globally within an international bank or international financial services organization. Specific skills/other requirements - Demonstrated Expertise (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated expertise (DE) developing and managing Hedge Fund and Asset Manager client relationships for EQD, market products from vanilla options to exotic payoffs, collaborating with EQD Sales and Trading to produce content for clients; (DE) with European banking regulatory rules to perform financial and market analysis and identify and quantify the risks related to any strategies offered to the clients; (DE) with Equity Derivative Sales and Sales Traders; (DE) with exotic products offered to hedge fund and asset manager clients; and (DE) leveraging in-depth knowledge of both U.S. and European market characteristics, market features, and employment regulations to effectively advise clients and colleagues in navigating across different economies and financial landscapes. 10% international travel required.
