Integra Partners Financial Analyst in New York, New York
The Financial Analyst will work closely with the Finance Manager and support the Financial Operations team at Integra Partners. This individual will support the day-to-day analysis, data extraction, reporting, and monitoring requirements of billing and payment trends.
Salary: $80,000/Annually
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
The Financial Analyst’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop the reporting tools & processes to monitor, flag, and resolve issues within billing & payments
Lead cross-functional teams of internal and external stakeholders to understand challenges & opportunities, collaboratively identify and deliver solutions, and drive sustainable change
Establish yourself as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on data analysis requirements pertaining to various implementations
Steer discussions between internal and external parties on billing & payment matters
Proactively review billing and payment processes, and design data optimization strategies
Assist with building reports as needed
Effectively gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders, and execute upon actionable follow-ups with little to no oversight
Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of tasks
Own any problems you discover and proactively drive forward solutions
Ongoing analytical and process driven approach to problem solving and workflow improvement
Summarizing data in a succinct manner to share with executive leadership and clients
Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support the implementation team
Develop an in-depth understanding of underlying data, data models and business domain to ensure reports meet the business needs
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of analytic and project management experience including consulting, finance, business decision support or strategy roles
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, math, statistics, or other STEM disciplines
Advanced Excel skills
SQL knowledge
Tableau, R, and Python knowledge preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to learn quickly and execute with new found understanding (e.g., industry, business models, products, technology)
Possess the willingness and ability to get beyond the obvious causes of outliers and poor performance, and investigate, identify, and correct the underlying root causes.
Must be highly motivated, dependable, excel with verbal and written communication skills, and be able to work independently under pressure
Comfort with ambiguity and ability to effectively multi-task, make tradeoffs, take initiative, and prioritize within a fast-paced, demanding environment
Efficient time and resource management skills to ensure that the service level provided exceeds expectations with a strong commitment to team success and team goals.
Experience working with business leaders to scope problem statements and goal of reporting outputs – and then executing by delivering Tableau workbooks and excel analyses which meet the objectives
Experience reviewing large data sets, identifying trends, and highlighting changes from identified benchmarks
Ability to identify root cause of underlying issues, evaluate options to address, and implement solutions to resolve
