Description
Amazon Advertising seeks a Financial Analyst to be a strategic business partner to the Agency and Global Advertiser Sales team to drive growth of the Amazon Ads business. We are looking for a top analytical mind to develop a deep Agency understanding, create key performance indicators, stand up reporting frameworks, and measure success of our Agency partners. This space is a pillar of the Amazon Ads growth strategy with high visibility to senior leadership.
The successful candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity and have highly respected business acumen. This role partners directly with cross-functional leadership and multiple Advertising Finance teams, and requires strong communication and technical skills.
Key job responsibilities
Provides strategic support to key Agency & Advertiser agreements, initiatives, and investments
Builds, iterates, and automates financial reports, metrics, and scorecards to support short and long-term planning
Owns weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting of Financial performance at global, regional, and country levels
Ad hoc business support
Close partnership with customer facing sales teams, sales operations, and finance BI resources to support insight generation and influence decision making

The Global Agency and Advertiser (GA&A) organization owns customer relationships with global leaders in the world’s largest advertisers and advertising agencies. Our mission is to accelerate growth and drive success for these customers. GA&A owns a variety of programs and mechanisms that support global customers, including, but not limited to, WW enterprise trading agreements and joint business plans, WW revenue reporting, and the client acceleration program. As the complexity and the scale of the activities owned by the team increases, we are relentlessly innovating on behalf of both customers and internal partners to think globally and optimize for long term growth.
Basic Qualifications
1+ years of finance experience
1+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $51,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $109,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
